Terms of Service

1. What Pinboxd is

Pinboxd helps you capture games you discover in short video and related content. You can share clips from supported platforms (such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram), resolve them to games, pin them to your shelf, organize play paths, rate games, browse Discover, and optionally subscribe to Pinboxd Pro.

Pinboxd is a consumer product of Artevus Technologies (Private) Limited.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age required in your country, such as 16 in some EU cases).
• If you use Pinboxd for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.
• You are responsible for complying with local laws that apply to you.

3. Accounts

You may use guest features where offered, or create an account with email/password, Sign in with Apple, or Google.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep credentials secure
• Notify us of unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for activity under your account

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, create risk, or abuse the Service.

You may delete your account in Settings or by contacting support. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

4. License to use Pinboxd

Subject to these Terms, Artevus grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Pinboxd for your own non-commercial use, as offered through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other authorized channels.

You do not acquire ownership of the app, brand, or Service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break any law or third-party rights
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service except as allowed by law
• Probe, hack, or disrupt systems or other users
• Upload malware or harmful code
• Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
• Spam, harass, or abuse users or staff
• Use automated bots to create fake pins, ratings, or accounts
• Bypass Pro limits, trials, promo codes, or payment systems
• Use Pinboxd to infringe game, platform, or content-owner rights

We may remove content, limit features, or terminate access for violations.

6. Your content and share-to-pin

6.1 Your content

You retain rights in content you submit (profile text, ratings, paths, feedback, and similar “User Content”).

You grant Artevus a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, and otherwise use User Content as needed to operate and improve Pinboxd.

6.2 Shared links

When you share a clip URL or share payload into Pinboxd, you represent that you have the right to submit that link for personal use in the Service. Pinboxd may fetch public metadata needed to identify a game. We do not claim ownership of third-party videos, platforms, or game IP.

6.3 Feedback

Ideas and feedback you send may be used by Artevus without restriction or compensation.

7. Third-party services and game data

Pinboxd may integrate with or display data from third parties, including:

• Apple and Google (auth and billing)
• Steam, PlayStation Network, Xbox (if you link accounts)
• Game store metadata providers
• Subscription infrastructure such as RevenueCat

Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Artevus is not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, or content accuracy. Game titles, artwork, and descriptions remain owned by their respective rights holders.

8. Pinboxd Pro, trials, and refunds

8.1 Subscriptions

Pinboxd may offer free features and paid Pinboxd Pro features (for example higher pin limits, unlimited paths, richer stats, ad-free Discover). Prices, benefits, and availability are shown in-app and may change.

8.2 Billing

Purchases are processed by Apple App Store, Google Play, and/or related billing partners. Your payment relationship is primarily with the store that charged you.

8.3 Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account settings before the renewal date. Cancelling stops future billing; it does not usually refund the current period unless required by law or store policy.

8.4 Trials and promos

Free trials and promo codes (including temporary review codes) may be offered. Abuse of trials or codes may result in revocation of access.

8.5 Refunds

Refunds are handled under Apple or Google policies and applicable law. Contact the store first for purchase issues; you may also contact info@artevus.com for entitlement help.

9. Intellectual property

Pinboxd name, logo, UI, software, and related materials are owned by Artevus or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works except as expressly allowed.

All game names, logos, artwork, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and metadata purposes.

10. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARTEVUS DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not guarantee that:

• every shared clip will resolve to the correct game
• metadata or artwork will always be complete or current
• the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARTEVUS AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

ARTEVUS’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO PINBOXD WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO ARTEVUS FOR PINBOXD IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limits; in those places, limits apply only to the extent allowed.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Artevus against claims arising from your misuse of Pinboxd, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or third-party rights.

13. Termination

You may stop using Pinboxd and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the product. On termination, your license ends. Sections that should survive (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, governing law) survive.

14. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update Pinboxd features and these Terms. Material Terms changes will be posted with a new date and may be highlighted in-app. Continued use after changes means acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Before filing a claim, contact legal@artevus.com and attempt informal resolution.

Where permitted by law, disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, and you waive class actions. If arbitration or class waiver is not allowed where you live, those parts do not apply to you.

16. App Store notice (iOS)

If you downloaded Pinboxd from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

• these Terms are between you and Artevus, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Pinboxd
• Apple is not responsible for product claims, IP infringement claims, or consumer legal claims related to Pinboxd, to the extent permitted by law
• Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this App Store notice section

Google Play users similarly acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Artevus, not Google, except where Google’s own terms apply to billing or distribution.

17. Miscellaneous

• These Terms plus the Privacy Policy are the full agreement for Pinboxd
• If one section is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect
• Failure to enforce a right is not a waiver
• You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them
• We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control
